It began with train track spikes and fasteners clanging in the Spring, hung by twine from the branch of a dogwood tree. The first response to the clamor was the pulling upon the attic door ladder. Then more responses. Riding cicada song of the Brood X timing; the dimensions of island frogs. Rhodes keys. Travel then travel again in place. Honey. Moon. Return to regularly expected activities.
